The SFRS / M&FRPS will let you know the process and review your documents before applying.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Current members of the Arkansas Army and Air National Guard.
WHAT TYPE OF BILLS WILL ASSISTANCE COVER?
Examples of situations that could qualify are:
Delay in receiving pay or reimbursement from the government
Temporary shelter, lodging or rent
Emergency utility assistance, i.e. gas electric water (not telephone, cable or internet service provider)
Emergency transportation and vehicle repair
Costs incurred for emergency travel due to death of immediate family member
Any special circumstance that the Foundation believes meets the intent of the General Assembly in establishing Ark. Code Ann. §§ 19-5-1127 and 26-51-2506
Examples of things that would not typically qualify are:
Payment for nonessential items or services
Payment for ordinary leave or vacation
Payment of fines or legal expenses
Liquidation or consolidation of debt
Assistance with down payment on a home purchase or home improvements
Funds to purchase or make a long term lease of a vehicle
HOW ARE REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE PROCESSED?
Applications will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Request for less than $750 may be approved by the ANGF Executive Director. Requests for $750 to $1500 will be reviewed by the Foundation Emergency Assistance Approval Committee. Requests for $1500 to $2500 will be reviewed first by the Foundation Emergency Assistance Approval Committee, and if approved will also be reviewed by the Foundation’s Executive Committee. (Expect assistance requests greater than $1500 to take additional time for processing and approval.
HOW ARE REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE SUBMITTED?
Applications must be submitted by the service member’s SFRS / M&FRPS. Service members should contact their unit to find their respective SFRS / M&FRPS.
