Briefly explain your goals and career objectives: | After earning a seat into the Interior Architecture and Design Professional Program, I feel encouraged and inspired in my studies concerning the discipline. The first semester was mostly a push of my efforts and desires for the career, so I hope this spring semester will allow for more time to deepen my research and understandings surrounding the principles of design along with the sciences that naturally apply. In addition, I am looking forward to a short summer semester abroad. Though applications are still in a consideration stage, I expect to study in Copenhagen, Denmark in their furniture studio course. We have previously been subtly introduced to this niche of interior design, but I am filled with intrigue on the details of the furniture design process. Later in my academic career, an internship should allow for employment opportunities, however, I have recently grown increasingly interested in an architectural graduate school for the betterment of my professional understanding. I hope that I can offer my best to any firm I chose to join one day through my perspective and educational growth. |
